Flag Day

So, guess what I spent my day doing? In town, raising much needed funds for the RNLI Lifeboats. I started out at 10 a.m. in my yellow bib and armed with my boat-shaped collection box and roll of stickers. And, woah, it's tiring. I probably said "Support the Lifeboats please" about 500 times...crazy. But, on the plus side, I got the day off school! And then we visited our favourite security guard as we stood outside in the pissing rain, and he gazed out at us, dry and warm. I swear to God, I so need new Dubes. Mine just soaked up the water like a sponge and my feet were in agony. I bought the second part of a long overdue birthday present and got on the bus, welcomed by a sweet 70c fare, all thanks to a uniform.

God I hate the weather.
