Desperate Housewives

Like, OMG, did we all see this last night??! What was with Victor...looks like he's dead but only 'Edie-dead'. No doubt he'll turn up when we all least expect it. Some hot boat though. And how about Lynette's mother? She would just walk away when Lynette wants to take her back... It is soooo awful about Mike. It's so mean on Susan...he would be smart enough to just put them down the sink. And Catherine is SUCH a biatch!!! Like making up all tht shit...what is the real story??? Are they like never going to hoover the aunt's bedroom??? That was just bitchy what Brie did with the baby... And it looks like we're going to have to wait another two weeks for any more gossip from Wisteria Lane thanks to that lovely Champions League!

Dustin!!!!

So what does everyone think of this one??!!! You either like him or hate him I guess!! Then of course there's those of you who absolutely despise the Eurovision and love anything that ridicules it. I suppose I'd consider myself to be a Dustin-lover...I grew up with him in a way on network 2 with the Den so it's cool to see him on the scene again. Of course we all enjoy his annual appearance on The Late Late Toy Show and his smart-ass comments to Pat! But what about the actual song itself?? Irlande Douze Points is really quite a good song! I mean it is the Eurovision we're talking about here so loud, gaudy, ridiculous and raucous is the way to go! Yes, the song mocks a different variety of things but people need to relate to a song to enjoy it. There is the hurdle of the semi-final to be passed first, but shur after that we're flying!!!!! I wish good luck to Dustin, and hopefully he'll get to the final, maybe even snatching our eighth title. And who knows where he'll go after that?!!

Micheal Collins - A Musical Drama

Anyone heard of this? It was running in Cork Opera House last week and I went to see it on Saturday. Sitting in the 3rd row was quite an ... intimate (!) ... experience!! Opening during the 1916 Rising, it follows Collins through his years of fighting for a republic, until his tragic death during the Civil War on home territory. The songs were unreal spesh the Civil War song and Fly The Flag Of Freedom! It received a well deserved standing ovation and I certainly burned off a maxi twist's worth of calories from all the apllauding! I guess I could be a bit biased, considering Mick is one of my heroes...but really, anyone would enjoy it. Mick Collins is one of the most legendary, iconic heroes in our nation's illusive history. Hailing from Cork certainly only serves to increase his appeal!

Brit: "You're seven minutes late."
Collins: "You kept us waiting seven hundred years, you can have your seven minutes."

A legend or what?

Hello!

Ok, this is probably going to be an extremely random blog, but I like the idea! Chances are it will just be me rambling on but if you're reading stay and have a look around! It's not that boring!
